KRON-TV news footage from March 26, 1973 with reporter Ray Taliaferro featuring brief scenes from interviews with actors Alan Arkin and James Caan at a fairly raucus party in San Francisco. They are celebrating a joint birthday (March 26) and were making the movie Freebie and the Bean in San Francisco at the time. Caan was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as Santino "Sonny" Corleone in The Godfather but is more interested in goofing around than answering Taliaferro's questions about the Oscars ceremony, which is being held tomorrow evening. Caan ends the interview by exclaiming good naturedly: "Have a drink. Put that silly thing down [the microphone] and have a drink!" Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
