McDonnell who died on February 18, from injuries sustained by a pipe bomb blast at the Park Police Substation in San Francisco's Upper Haight neighborhood at 10:50pm on Monday 16 February. This explosion injured several other officers. Includes views of mourners arriving at St Agnes Catholic Church in San Francisco and moving on to Holy Cross Catholic Cemetary, in Colma. There is occasional voice-over from Newburn. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
This 16mm reversal film print was re-transferred in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in April 2023.
