KPIX-TV news footage from with reporter Nancy Clark from September 20, 1966 featuring scenes of Lady Bird Johnson attending the San Francisco Opera, where a group of "anti-Vietnam war pickets" are protesting outside. Opens with silent views of Lady Bird Johnson being driven away from the Fairmont Hotel (where she stayed overnight on the 20th) and ends with a to-camera summary of events by Clark. Note that the TV Archive was one of the community partners for The Lady Bird Diaries, which had its California premiere at the DocLands Documentary Film Festival on May 11, 2023. This 16mm b&w reversal print was scanned in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in May 2023.
