KPIX-TV news footage from July 14, 1966 with reporter Ben Williams in San Francisco featuring press conferences by civil rights lawyers who are protesting against the Supreme Court's decision not to postpone jail sentences handed out to civil rights activists, who took part in San Francisco's Palace Hotel and Auto Row sit-ins in 1964. A rally on the steps of City Hall is scheduled for Sunday 17 July. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.

This 16mm b&w positive reversal film print was transferred in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in July 2023.
