KPIX-TV news footage from October 27, 1972 with reporter Pat O'Brien featuring scenes from the marriage of mime artists Robert Shields and the late Lorene Yarnell at San Francisco's Union Square, officiated by actor Scott Beach. After Shields puts the wedding ring on Yarnell's finger, Beach hugs them and declares: "I call upon you to witness that these two beloved have exchanged their vows and are husband and wife!" The bridal couple remain silent throughout their ceremony, witnessed by 1200 onlookers and after dancing a jig to celebrate, are driven away in a vintage Rolls Royce. This 16mm color reversal film print was scanned in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in October 2023.
