A segment from the c.1985 debut episode of KTVU's Assignment Two program, produced by Johnny Barnes Selvin, featuring the Rainbow Workers Cooperative in Oakland, formed by over 30 sewing workers laid off by Sierra Designs. Includes scenes of: workers helping to set up a factory space on Oakland's Embarcedero for their new contract sewing business and interviews with some of the workers who helped to set up the Cooperative, like Betty Chisholm. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
