The Flying Finn Twins
About This Item
KPIX-TV news footage from August 18, 1961, featuring brief scenes from an interview with Charles and George Finn, also known as the Flying Finn Twins. The Ch.5 reporter (called "Bill") asks: " I understand you have visions of getting rich quick off the government, and 'Life' magazine." George Finn reponds that: "This is a long, hard struggle to obtain justice and ... compensation for the damages that we feel have been done over the years. First by the government and then by this publication in 'Life' magazine." The reporter then asks: "Tell me, what do you do for a living besides file law suits and arrest judges on the street?" Charles Finn explains that they don't currently have any income and borrow money from friends. He also states that his landlady hasn't charged any rent for 8 years. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
