KTVU news footage from December 12, 1967, with reporter Claud Mann, featuring scenes from the Havens Mansion at 19 Wildwood Gardens in Piedmont, CA, which is up for auction. Includes views of prospective buyers inspecting the house which was designed by Bernard Maybeck, with interiors by Louis Comfort Tiffany, and of auctioneer Milton J. Wershow trying to raise the bidding. Note that according to the San Francisco Chronicle, the highest bid was offered by Stephen Harris, a rare book dealer from Mill Valley, CA. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks. This 16mm b&w reversal film print was scanned in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in November 2025.
