KRON-TV news footage from December 12, 1967, featuring scenes from the Havens Mansion at 19 Wildwood Gardens in Piedmont, CA, which is up for auction. Includes views of prospective buyers inspecting the house which was designed by Bernard Maybeck, with interiors by Louis Comfort Tiffany, and of auctioneer Milton J. Wershow taking bids. Ends with a brief interview with the highest bidder Stephen Harris, who is a rare book dealer from Mill Valley, CA. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks. This 16mm b&w negative print was scanned in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in January 2026.
