Includes views of MC Joseph Bavaresco crowning high school senior Linda Scholz as the winner, watched by runners up Bonnie MacDonald, Catherine Brusco and Heidi Noda. Note this was the first time in 7-years that the competition had been held in San Francisco. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks. This 16mm color reversal film print was scanned in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in April 2026.
