A photograph of Isadore “Izzy” Pivnick with an arm in a sling. Pivnick served as president of the Associated Men Students (AMS) in spring of 1941. AMS hosted motivational speakers on athletics on campus during biweekly meetings aimed at boosting school spirit, building athletic pride, and helping to shape a unified student body. Hotdogs, beans, and tamales were served at meetings.
