“Bib ‘n’ Tucker Fashion Show” in the 1941 Franciscan” yearbook, page 54

About This Item

Photograph depicts audience eyes following models on the catwalk during Bib ‘n’ Tucker’s fashion show in 1941. Bib ‘n’ Tucker, a popular social sorority, was established in 1931 to create interest in campus fashions. Fashion shows, dances, teas, and other social functions raised money for Bib ‘n’ Tucker's annual Christmas Party where underprivileged children received gifts. Bib ‘n’ Tucker remained active until the late-1960s. Among the audience members are Jack McGann, Bea Cleary, Gerry Polite, Vi Nicoloff, and Pete Mirande.
