Willem HONDIUS (c.1597-c.1660): Bogdan Khmelnitsky (in Polish Bohdan Chmielnicki) (c. 1595-1657) was hetman (military commander) of the Ukrainian Cossacks who allied the Cossacks with the Russian tsar in 1654.
