Andreas SCHLUTER: Designed by Schluter for Friedrich I of Prussia, 1701. Carved by Gottfried Wolfram, Ernst Schacht, Gottfried Turau. Presented to Peter I in 1716. Installed in the Winter Palace, St. Petersburg c. 1743, then moved to the Catherine Palace in 1755. During World War II the panels disappeared. The room was reconstructed from photographs 1979-2003.
