Biagio d'Antonio da FIRENZE (c. 1445 - c. 1510): The subject was taken from the writings of the ancient Roman author Livy. The Roman senate honors the hero Camillus with a triumphal parade through Rome. Camillus had returned from exile to rescue Rome from the Gauls.
