JUDEO-SPANISH Anonymous: Maimonides (Moses ben Maimon; 30 March 1135-13 December 1204) was a Talmudist; philosopher; astronomer; and physician. He was born in Cordoba but later settled in Cairo. The inscription at the base of the statue is his signature.
