Adam MENELAS (1753-1831): The gate leads to Kuzmino, originally one of the villages of the Imperial Estate at Tsarskoye Selo. The Alexander Park of Tsarskoye Selo extended to this gate until 1895. At that time the land was taken over for military barracks. The gate was cast in St. Petersburg at the Alexander Iron Works.
