SPANISH Anonymous: The hall which measured over 400 square meters could seat 160 diners at one time. It was remodelled in 1879 to celebrate the marriage of Alfonso XII ti /Maria Christina of Hapsburg-Lorraine. to when two rooms from the queens private quarters were joined. It was opulently decorated and lit by 25 chandeliers.
