SEVERAN Anonymous (193-235): The four-way arch (quadrifrons) was placed at the intersection of the cardo and decumanus maximus to commemorate the visit by Septimius Severus to Leptis Magna. This scene is on an inner arch. The original is in the Leptis Magna Archaeological museum.
