POMPEIAN FOURTH STYLE Anonymous (63 - 79): Fresco originally located in Basilica in Herculaneum. Image represents Hercules discovering his son Telephus while he is suckled by a doe. Original painting in Pergamon seems to have served as model for a copy in Herculaneum.
