ETHIOPIAN AXUMITE Anonymous (c. 100 BCE - c. 700): This stele was 26 meters high. The Italians looted it and took it to Rome. It was finally returned to Ethiopia in 2205. The stele was cut into 3 pieces and boxed, then sent by air on the largest cargo plane available.
