ROMAN PROVINCIAL Anonymous (active c. 300 BCE - 500 CE): The baths were built in 98 CE during the reign of Trajan, and remodelled under Hadrian in 119. In the 2nd c CE a new entrance gate (propylaeum) to the Sanctuary was constructed to replace the 4th c BCE Doric Propylaeum. The Roman Propylaeum is to the left.
