ETRUSCAN CLASSIC Anonymous (c. 480 BCE-300 BCE): An Augur was a priest who practiced divination by studying the flight of birds. A Haruspex was a priest who practiced divination by inspecting the entrails of sacrificed animals, especially the livers of sheep.
