ETHIOPIAN PRE-AXUMITE Anonymous: The temple is walled 12 meters high. Some sort of fertility cult was probably practiced here since the life-sized seated female figures in the Addis Ababa museum were from here, The temple was later changed into a Christian church by the Axumites.
