ETRUSCAN Anonymous: This statue depicts Letona holding the infant Apollo and was an acroterian on the roof of the Temple of Arcalco (Apollo) in the Sanctuary of Potonaccio along with statues of Apollo Herakles with the Ceryneian hind and Hermes. The less consistent arrangement of drapery folds and disproportion between the small head and large body suggest that this statue may have been modeled by a different sculptor than the sculptor of the other three more masterful acroterians.
