ETRUSCAN Anonymous: This sarcophogus features a couple reclining together on a banquet couch- this illustrates a feasting custom that was local to Etruria. The rounded face and robust chest of the figure reflects an emphasis on outer contours rather than anatomical distinction- a style derived from a Greek Ionian influence.
