ETHIOPIAN TRADITIONAL Anonymous (c. 1900 - present): The tallest stele was originally 5 meters tall. The date is unknown and the stelae are not recognized by the local Girage people. They were possibly by earlier Oromo people from the 14th-15th c, Recent excavations reveal mass graves of men and women age 18 to 30. Possibly buried as a result of a battle.
