FRENCH ROMANESQUE Anonymous (1000-1150): The Benedictine Priory was a daughter house of Cluny. After Cluny it was the largest church in France and could hold 5000 people. It was consecrated by Pope Pascal II in 1107. Only a few bays, the transept and chancel are all that remain.
