BYZANTINE PROVINCIAL Anonymous (c. 330-1453): The original mosaic floor was made up of 10 rows of 5 square panels set into a grid pattern with a frame of looped-circles. Nilotic panels such as this with birds, fish, and flowers may reflect Egyptian influence.
