BYZANTINE PROVINCIAL Anonymous (c. 330-1453): The original mosaic floor was made up of 10 rows of 5 square panels set into a grid pattern with a frame of looped-circles. The Geon (or Gihon) was one of the four paradisiacal rivers of Eden in the Book of Genesis (Chapter 2).
