TEOTIHUACAN Anonymous (Early Classic c. 1 - 600): Many of these murals are highly representative and may have been produced with the aid of stencils. The murals vary in style and quality, but share certain features. Like wallpaper they consist of flat repeated designs on the porches of rooms. The mural colors are mostly bright, reds, blues, greens and yellow. In this particular mural we see one figure from a procession referring to the sacrifice of a heart. The scrolls are thought to represent song.
