Marco BON FRYAZIN (act. 1505-1508): Built by Bon Fryazin in 1505-1508 over the Church of St. Ioann Lestvichnik (1329). In 1600 during the reign of Boris Godunov the gilded dome was added making the height 81 meters. Petrovskaya Tower (1818) is in the foreground. The gilded domes of the Cathedral of the Assumption by Fioravanti (1475-1479) can be seen behind the Bell Tower.
