SUMERIAN EARLY DYNASTIC Anonymous (2900 BCE - 2730 BCE): Early Dynastic III. From the Great Death-Pit in the Royal Cemetery at Ur where 73 bodies were found. This skull of body no. 53 had been crushed by the weight of the soil during burial.
