ROMAN LATE ANTIQUE Anonymous (284 - c. 500): Constantius was Caesar of the western Roman Empire. In 296 he invaded Britain and put down the revolt of the usurpers Carausius and Allectus. The coin shows Britannia kneeling to Constantius at the Gate of London. This coin is a modern copy of the original.
