KUSHITE Anonymous: The kings of the 25th Dynasty (c. 747-656 BCE) built temples at Kawa in Upper Nubia (Sudan) to the god Amun. This statue was found in the centre of Temple T constructed by Taharqa in the sixth year of his reign (690-664 BCE).
