About This Item
LA TENE Anonymous (800 BCE - 50 BCE): Examples of Early La Tene art which is characterized by Greek and Etruscan influences on traditional Celtic art. Found in France in 1927 with two Etruscan bronze stamoi. The flagons copy the shape of bronze flagons made and used by the Etruscans in Italy at this time.
