DOUGLAS AIRCRAFT: The Douglas B-18 Bolo was a bomber and was based on the DC2 commerical transport. This model was built in 1938. By 1939 it was considered underpowered. Some were destroyed at Pearl Harbor and others were relataged to ani-submarine and transportation duty. See http://www.elite.net/castle-air/b18.htm.
