ITALIAN Anonymous: Sloane, the famous physician, scientist and collector, prescribed chocolate for indigestion and consumption. He had discovered chocolate in Jamaica and at first found it 'nauseous' but discovrted that it became palatable when mmixed with milk. He brought that recipe back to England and it was sold in pharmacies. Later Cadbury used Sloane's recipe and created his famous candy.
