ITALIAN GOTHIC Anonymous (1140-1400): The cameo was made in Sicily or Southern Italy around 1204-1250. The scene is the family of Noah leaving the ark. It was once owned by Lorenzo de' Medici (The Magnificent). The frame was probably made in the Burgundy region of France at the end of the 15th century.
