ETHIOPIAN LATER SOLOMONIC Anonymous: Ethiopians traditionally raided in the southern provinces and captured blacks which they sold as slaves. Although the slave trade was outlawed in the 19th century, Ethiopia did not outlaw slavery itself until the 20th.
