Jan GOSSAERT (c.1478 - 1532; aka Mabuse): Francisco de los Cobos y Molina (1477-1547) was secretary and chief financial advisor to Emperor Charles V. The red cross on his doublet and the scallop shell pendant are emblems of the chivalric Order of Santiago; Saint James the Greater.
