ETRUSCAN Anonymous: This sarcophagus features an elderly man and woman. The woman in the depiction is probably the wife of the male figure but has also been interpreted as a demon of death. This sarcophagus demonstrates the focus that was placed on the heads of individuals in contrast to the secondary treatment of the body.
