ETRUSCAN Anonymous: These four antefixes of the heads of maeneds and selini were remains of the Temple of Apollo at the Sanctuary of Portonaccio in Veii. Rows of antefixes were used as ornaments at the ridge of a roof to conceal the open end of roof tiles.
