ETRUSCAN Anonymous: These two sculptures of seated women were originally located in the Tomb of Five Chairs in Cerveteri. The tomb housed five rock carved chairs that enthroned five painted terra cotta statues that recreated a banquet feast. Of the original five figures one male and two female figures have been reconstructed. These statues represent 7th century Etruscan art's stylistic tendencies for softly modeled bodies and disproportionately large rounded heads and features.
