ETRUSCAN Anonymous: These plaques were architectural decoration (entablature) of the Temple of Apollo also called the Temple of Lo Scasato in Civita Castellana/Fallerii. These plaques were portions of two pedimental moldings- the top molding was cut diagonally to accomodate the sloping moldings of the pediment. The terracotta plaques were painted with floral motifs in low relief.
