SF State College Tennis Courts after Repair, Haight & Buchanan Streets — February 24, 1955 (Updated two months ago)

You can view this bundle in the SFSU Over the Years collection area.

Tennis courts at the former Haight & Buchanan campus, photographed on February 24, 1955, viewed from the terrace of the C.P. School. Surrounding apartment buildings and institutional structures reflect the dense urban setting of San Francisco State College’s original campus. Although classes officially moved to the new Lake Merced (19th Avenue) campus in 1953, this image shows the Haight & Buchanan site two years later, likely during a period of transition or continued limited use.
