Daniel D. Feder. 1961. Professor of Psychology and Dean of Academic Planning; Dean of Faculty Affairs. BA (1931), MA (1931) University of Denver; Ph.D. (1934) State University of Iowa. Retired 1975. Died May 16, 1978. Feder served as Lt. Commander in the Bureau of Naval Personnel during World War II as a psychologist who worked to streamline testing, personnel selection, and assignments. President Paul Dodd named Feder as Dean of Academic Planning in 1964 so he was in that position during the 1968-1969 student-led strike for ethnic studies. Feder [Have papers in University Archives.]
