Jerome E. Rothstein. 1948. Professor of Special Education. BS (1938) State College of Iowa; MA (1942) New York University; Ed.D. (1948) Teachers College Columbia University. Retired in 1972. Rothstein was a nationally recognized specialist in dealing with neurodivergent people. During the Lyndon B. Johnson administration, he served on the Presidential Commission on Mental Retardation, and wrote several books on the topic. Died November 4, 1978.
