Arthur F. Cunningham. 1974. Professor of Marketing, Dean of the School of Business. BS (1950) Long Island University; JD (1953) Brooklyn Law School; advanced study New York University Graduate School of Business; MBA (1958) University of Detroit. Cunningham was formerly President of Leslie Salt Company, hired under President Paul Romberg to lead the School of Business when the former Dean left under a cloud. Cunningham served as the voice of Grodin’s [clothing store] “real people” radio advertisements and donated earnings to build an Endowment Fund for the School of Business. Cunningham was instrumental in organizing the U.S. – China and U.S. – Japan institutes at SF State in 1984
