NEO-ASSYRIAN Anonymous (c. 1000 BCE - 609 BC): From the palace library of the Assyrian King Ashurbanipal (reigned 669-631 BCE) in Nineveh. This planisphere was divided into 12 segments each with a name of a month and a constellation.
